I like to experiment with different types of nature printing techniques and sometimes combine pressed seaweed, cyanotype printing and decoupage to create multimedia art.
Cyanotype is an early form of photography utilising the sun and chemicals to produce images onto paper and fabric, its distinctive feature of of the print is its shade of cyan blue, which results from its exposure to ultraviolet light.. Decoupage is an art form that involves cutting out images and gluing them onto a surface to create a decorative effect. I use natural sustainably foraged hand pressed seaweed in multi media art.
